Ban Nongkio Village
Ban Nongkio is a Lahu Christian village of 88 houses with the population around 300 people, away from Chiang Mai about 180 kilometers northeast in Chiang Rai province. Thai Tribal Crafts (TTC) first started to work with the women in this village in 1980.
The number of producers fluctuated depending on the orders that TTC can provide to producers. Currently there are 13 producers. The products they make include: Letter holders, Coasters, Place Mat and Shoulder Bags, with appliqu? design on hand-woven cloth.
