Thai Tribal Crafts is a self-help marketing agency established in Chiang Mai since 1973 with the main goal to provide opportunities for improving the quality of life of the tribal people in Northern Thailand.
We carry a wide range of cosmetic bag, with different raw materials, various colours and sizes and coming from different hilltribes. The pattern of this cosmetic bag has been crafted in the Lisu tribal community. About 28,000 Lisu people live in Thailand, and they are also settled in China and Burma.
This item reflects the traditional pattern used by the Lisu people. Indeed, they make vibrant colored patchwork cloth items and the Lisu outfits are decorated with bands of many bright colours.
After the production of the traditional pattern in the village, raw materials are given to women in Chiang Mai who assemble the cloths and materials and finish the products. This process of production with skilled and trained men and women at each step ensures high-quality products.
